Emirates Foundation
GVI Corporate Alliance is running the overseas volunteering aspects for the Emirates Foundation. The Emirates Foundation is funding a national Volunteering Program for the United Arab Emirates, and has selected GVI as the operator.
The Foundation was officially launched in 2005 and the Board of Directors includes a range of senior leaders and ministers from the UAE. The Emirates Foundation is aims to increase the culture of public-private partnership in the Federation, fundraising and managing donations to develop and support community activities in:
- Education, Arts, and Culture
- Research and Development
- Social Development
- Environmental Awareness and Development
GVI operates tailor made projects for the Emirates Volunteer Programs, all of which are versions of the standard programs with specific staffing to ensure the religious and cultural needs of the volunteers are met. The programs all supply inter cultural exchange between the volunteers.
