The Whole Planet Foundation
GVI Corporate Alliance is proud to be a key member of a new global initiative aim to reduce world poverty and demonstrate corporate commitment to supporting global stakeholders through microfinance and other economic development programs: The Whole Planet Foundation (a Whole Foods Market foundation). Other global supporting partners include Grameen Trust (Nobel Prize Laureate 2006) and Global Giving. The Whole Planet Foundation's mission is to create economic partnerships with the poor in those developing-world communities that corporations or organizations trade with or work alongside or would like to help.
GVI CA is coordinating the volunteering program for Whole Foods Market and the Whole Planet Foundation. The GVI Corporate Alliance enables corporations and organizations to supply funding and manpower to legitimate long-term sustainable development and micro financing projects in the areas they trade with and to increase the culture and knowledge exchange between different areas and cultures of our world.
